I’m a software developer based in Warsaw, Poland, with a degree from the Warsaw University of Technology (Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology).

I’ve been building mobile applications professionally since 2010 — starting with iOS, and expanding into cross-platform mobile over the past eight years. First via Java with j2objc, now with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP), sharing business logic between iOS and Android. Swift is still my home, but the shared layer is where a lot of the interesting architecture decisions happen.

Current role

I’m a Tech Lead at Beekeeper, leading a team of nine engineers. We build products for frontline workers — the people running shifts, managing crews, and working without a desk. We operate in a post-merger environment, which means navigating a lot of complexity beyond just the technical kind.

Career

My first commercial project was Polityka on iPad (2010) — the Polish weekly magazine’s app, one of the first in Poland to use auto-renewable subscriptions.

In 2013 I moved to Berlin and joined Neofonie Mobile GmbH, where I worked on two projects I’m still proud of: the Bild on iPad app for Germany’s largest newspaper, and the Digital Concert Hall for the Berliner Philharmoniker.

Back in Warsaw, I built enterprise software for US clients at Taptera Poland, then led the iOS team at Applause Inc. (2014–2017), focusing on delivery processes and team workflows.

A consulting period followed — working on Crescendo at Sependa and leading an iOS team at YND Consult — before I spent four years (2018–2022) at the Paris-based startup The Fabulous. It’s a science-based habit-building app incubated in Duke University’s Behavioral Economics Lab, and one of the more technically and humanly interesting things I’ve worked on.

In October 2022 I joined Beekeeper, initially as Principal Mobile Engineer and now as Tech Lead.

Also

I co-founded Mobile Academy, an organization that ran hands-on mobile development workshops across Poland and Europe — covering TDD, architecture, and whatever was hard to get right at the time.
